Style Steal: Cher Lloyd #2

Skirt: Miley Cyrus Max Azria; Boots: Bare Feet
Hello and Happy Monday! This was not my OOTD for school today but this was my OOTD from my grandparents' house on Saturday, trying to imitate Cher Lloyd from her video "Want U Back". I did not take pictures of my outfit to school today because I was going for a pub rock look but I don't listen to that so I thought it would be unnecessary. But I did like the outfit, though...

"Greatest Hits" Coming Soon!

Just carrying on the memory. I learned about this just about a month ago, but I've heard that My Chemical Romance is releasing a "Greatest Hits" album in January 2014 which is good but weird at the same time since they've broken up almost 8 months ago. But I think it's cool and it's just what I need because I love them so much and so do millions of other people. It will probably contain the songs that they were going to use for their 5th album which I have been to hear. So I'm glad and I will be forever in love. My Chemical Romance, I don't know what you want from us, but I only hope it's love.

How To Be Less Shy And More Confident (by eHow)

I love this article! I took the steps from eHow on how to be less shy and more confident. I used to lack confidence but ever since last year, I exude it more than ever. But I didn't really make much friends afterwards. So this is for the people who want to break out of the Shy Zone. Of course, I could just post the link to the article, but I wanted to highlight some key terms so people could focus more on the main idea since these paragraphs are a little long. (P.S. Ignore that "1" under here; I don't know how to take it off!)
  1.

Look people in the eye and smile when you pass people in your everyday life. Start with one person a day and work up gradually until you are able to smile at most people you encounter. Smile back at those who smile at you first. Remember that smiling makes you look more friendly which may make it easier for people to approach you.
    • 2
Join a club that has regular social events and become actively involved in its activities. Ask to join small committees so that you initially interact with a few people you can become comfortable with. Go to as many club events as possible.
    • 3
Take a class and develop a skill you have always wanted to acquire. Share your success in the class with positive, encouraging family members and friends and allow yourself to feel pride at what you are accomplishing.
    • 4
Say "hi" to your next door neighbor when you go and pick up the mail. Greet the church usher you see every week. Acknowledging another person is a way that you can start to break through your wall of shyness.
    • 5
Get a new haircut or buy a shirt that fits you well. Buy the pair of shoes you have been eyeing but felt were too daring. Feeling good about yourself is an excellent way to give you the confidence you need to start fighting your shyness.
    • 6
Stop muttering when people speak to you. Answer people in a clear tone that is easily heard but is not too loud and you will discover that people actually listen to you. This knowledge will help boost your self-confidence and help you deal with your shyness.
    • 7
Let your friends and family know that you are working on overcoming shyness and gaining more confidence in yourself. Ask that they help you by introducing you to people and activities that can draw you out of your shell, and by reminding you of the good traits you possess. Tell them that they are a vital part of the process of you overcoming these challenges.

Birthday Suit #2!

This is my Birthday OOTD on Sunday for my birthday brunch. I shared it on YouTube so everyone could see. A girl can celebrate her birthday for two days, right?

Sorry I've been gone for so long. My birthday was this weekend on the 9th but I didn't have anytime to post my OOTD on my computer. But here it is! This is what I wore to... Ikea... My grandmother and my cousin took me. It was the last place I wanted to be.
